Every Recipe Deserves to Be Remembered
Empiravi is a free mobile application for saving, organising, and sharing cooking recipes. It lets people write down their own recipes with photos and step-by-step instructions, collect them into cookbooks, and discover recipes published by other home cooks around the world.
Empiravi is a mobile recipe application for people who want to write down, keep, and share the recipes that matter to them — the ones handed down in families, scribbled on cards, or worked out over years in a home kitchen.
Anyone can browse published recipes. Creating an account lets you write your own recipes with photos and step-by-step instructions, organise them into cookbooks, follow other cooks, and leave ratings and comments. Recipes you have not published stay private to you.
Record ingredients, steps, photos, preparation time, servings, and notes, so a recipe is not lost when the person who knew it is gone.
Group recipes into collections — family classics, weeknight dinners, a regional tradition — and keep them together.
Recipes are written by cooks around the world and tagged by country, so you can find dishes far outside your own kitchen.
Recipes can be translated for reading in the language you prefer. Translation runs on your own device, and never replaces the author's original text.
You can browse Empiravi without an account. To publish recipes or take part in the community, you can create an account with an email address and password, or sign in with Google. Signing in with Google is used only to identify your account — Empiravi requests your basic profile and email address, and nothing more.
Empiravi does not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or behavioural profiling, and it does not sell personal information. The full details are set out in the privacy policy linked below.
